Mike's cousin

Now this is really sad, as many of you know my husband Mike is a police officer. Yesterday he got a call to a drowned 36yr old man. So they went to the house and took the man out of the tub and started doing cpr on him. After they got him out of the tub, Mike noticed it was his cousin Adam. So they started working on him, shocked his heart and everything, but he died. He didn't actually drowned. They think he died from a brain anurism. He had brain cancer and has finished radiation and chemo, but recently he said he'd been having huge headaches, so he had an appointment to get another MRI next week, but it wasn't in time. I guess it was his time to go, but it's sad. This is mikes 5th cousin to die, all on the Wilson side. Its kind of sad that Mike had to see him that way, but it was nice that it was Mike, so that he could call his family and tell them. This cousins parents, just happened to come home last Friday, from their mission in New York, so that the mom could go through Cancer treatment for her thyroid.

If you use a lot of hair accessories like I do with my 3 girls go to this website and print out some coupons, this is from the manufacturer and its in a pdf file so their isn't a limit to how many you can print. http://www.goodycomfort.com/res/pdf/ouchless_coupon.pdf These are $2.12 at walmart and the coupon is for $2.00 so they cost .12 cents. They also have headbands and other accessories with the "ouchless" brand. Great deal, we're always in need of these around here.

We're off to the tropics!!!

Of UTAH, that is. Yeah, last night at about 7 I decided that my 3 girls and I would take off for the 4 day weekend and go to St. George to see gram and grampa. So we'll try to post some pics while were down there.

BIG Early Snow Storm

The yungins were SUPER excited that there was snow when the woke up this morning.
Here's little Miss Ky having fun. Yesterday she kept saying, "you said it was going to snow" and I kept on saying "wait until tomorrow" It's a good thing it did, or I never would have heard the end of it.

Go Mama!!!

This is me up on the roof of our new shed, putting the shingles on.
Mike did 99% of it but he couldn't do the last 2 feet and the top because, the roof is so steep that he was tearing the shingles. It's not something I wouldn't normally do, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

It was only 80 degrees outside but it's hotter than heck on that black roof, my legs were getting burnt through my pants. Hey, it's a little crooked but, its done. I've gotta give it to those people that do that for a living. That's brutal.
